"What a special place this is! I wish I had known more of what it is before we went, because we would have brought chairs to sit and watch the sunset. Seems to be the popular thing to do, and with good reason. This place suits people who love to adventure AND people who would rather be chill. We walked all over the rocks (which can be dangerous, so caution is highly encouraged) to get as close to the water as possible. But if just sitting and gazing at the water is more your style, you can do that as well! Bring sunscreen and water! The sun is brutal. I saw many people with chairs and umbrellas. We intend to go back with the same, as well as a picnic lunch! You could easily spend all day here. I don't believe there is a place nearby to swim, though, fyi."

"We spent 3 hours at this well thought out museum. We were greeting by a volunteer gentleman who was very helpful in suggesting the progression of the museum with a well laid out brochure. We shared some stories back and forth and were on our way. You can spend as much or little time as you wish at each exhibit. Obviously, we spent quite a while in each room since we shut down the place. We were especially pleased that there is so much information regarding the big part Ohio played in the Civil War. We had no idea! Be sure to check the hours since this large museum is staffed solely by volunteers! THANK YOU GARY! Oh yes, if you're looking for a place to eat, we suggest MST Pub & Grill right around the corner on Madison St. Generous portions, very good at reasonable prices. Try the Chicken fillets with tator tots. Tim & Jean"
